Thomson Wedgetail core lifters have thin composite diamond-coating (CDC) made of a strong metal alloy filled with synthetic micro-diamonds is added to diamond-coated core lifters. Superior wear resistance is provided by the diamond coating method. According to field tests, the diamond coated core lifter provides a life that is far greater than that of a regular core lifter.
